Residential Seniors

We are pleased to introduce programs which provide a renewed sense of discovery and compassion for the natural world. Reminisce and share your most memorable animal experiences as we Bring Enrichment Adventures to Residental Seniors (BEARS).

All BEARS programs:

  • Cost $100 per program.
  • Are limited to 45 partcipants.
  • Are presented at your location.
  • Are approximately 45 minutes in length.
  • May contain live animal demonstrations, audio-visual aspects, and various zoo artifacts.
  • Programs are limited to a 30 mile radius of Oklahoma City.

Please Note: We provide all equipment, but some programs require electricity. BEARS may include live animals which participants may touch.  We provide hand-sanitizer; however the facility/individual is responsible for necessary precautions in the case of compromised immune systems.

Oklahoma Trails Has Stories to Tell

Step back in history to early days of Oklahoma where bison roamed freely and sod houses dotted the horizon.  This interactive presentation will allow you to take a virtual tour of Oklahoma Trails, introduce you to native animals, and remind you of a simpler place and time.

It’s a Zoo Out There!

Lions, bears, and snakes, oh my!  Take a special tour of the Oklahoma City Zoo to visit your favorite animals and plants without leaving your facility!  This virtual tour allows you to get a close-up view of our amazing wildlife, hear their unique sounds, and even touch related artifacts.

An Afternoon at the Beach

Spend an enjoyable afternoon at the beach.  During this interactive mini-vacation, we’ll hear the sea birds calling over crashing waves, feel the sand as we collect shells, and touch a variety of marine invertebrates.  This promises to be a delightful escape regardless of weather.

Around the World Safari

Take a trip around the world to meet animals from 3 different continents.  This show-and-tell style presentation will leave you eager to set sail for new and exotic destinations to discover wildlife.
